Transposing Method of Solving Algebra
Welcome friends! in
“Introduction to Algebra” we leant how to get the value of unknown variables.
Hope you became expert in that, if not then practice more.
Today we will lean a shortcut
method to get the value of unknown variable, it is called transposing method.
Actually it works on previous learnt method only we make it short for our ease.
Do you remember, in the given
problem we use to do opposite operation on both sides. Here we will shift the
unwanted number or term on other side & change its sign.
Let’s see an example
Remember
Some Complicated
examples:
3x + 4 = 10
As
you practice it, you will be expert of it and it reduces the time of
calculations.
Remember
Examples
for Practice:
1)
X – 4 = 5 2) 2x + 4 = 8
3)
Y + 5 = 11 4) 3y – 3 = 6
5)
5x – 10 = 15 6) x/3 – 2 = 1
Thank
you! Hope you enjoy!!!
See
you then bye……….
